Sea, mountains, lochs, rivers, forests, history - all this and more is to be found in what many people believe to be the most beautiful area of Britain. Join us on this super value short break and discover for yourselves the rugged grandeur and scenic splendour of Scotland's west coast in the summer. Oban is a well known, small town with plenty of shops, museums and a distillery, and is a busy fishing harbour and ferry terminal for many Hebridean islands. On a clear evening the sunsets over these islands are a spectacular sight, and well worth the walk to McCaig's Tower for a good view. During our stay, there will be time to explore the town as well as appreciate the wonderful surroundings on the included excursions, which may include Seil Island, Inverary, Lochgilphead and Fort William, or the Isles of Mull & Iona.
